Innocence

A while ago we started carpooling with a boy from Lucy's preschool. On the first day, the two 4 year olds were sitting in the back seat together having quite the conversation. This is what I caught of it:
Kyle: "The cops shoot bad guys. (Singing) Bad boys...what's going to happen when they come to get you...Bad boys"
Lucy: "Really?"
Kyle: "Yeah, but it's ok, because they are bad guys. So when they are on the ground, the cops shoot them with their guns."
Lucy: "Well, I just love flowers, and butterflies, and rainbows, and fairies, and unicorns, and princesses. All the beautiful things."
I love my little girl!
