p.s.
Oh, by the way, that was an April Fools joke. Although twins had always been my dream since I was a little girl, once Lucy was born it QUICKLY changed! I have to say, though, that it was 100% Jordan's idea. Now if we really do have twins, nobody will ever believe me! I should post things like this more often, though! I got more phone calls and texts in 1 hour than I have in my whole life. Thanks for your well wishes! I'll keep them for the one baby, if you don't mind.

3-D Ultrasound
So, we had the 3-D ultrasound today. I was so excited about it, because, I mean really, who doesn't want a snap shot of their unborn child? Even if we aren't finding out if we're having a boy or a girl, I just can't wait to see those cute little cheeks! Anyway, it turned out really cute, and we got some more news...TWINS!!! Who'd have thought? I mean, I know I'm big, but somehow we missed that earlier. Hooray! We are doubly excited now, and will have to make some major arrangements for the baby sleeping situation, but I am just too excited and nervouse to worry about that at this point. But, we have 2 sets of cute cheeks baking in my growing oven, and very excited for this new, crazy busy, adventure!

Quotes of the Day
Well, tonight was filled with fantastic ones, ranging from Josiah popping Jordan in the back and saying "Listen!" before family prayer to Lucy ranking us from super fast poke to slow poke of the family. But my very favorite is going to make the official quote for tonight.
We were eating dinner and Jordan and I were discussing some testing and further certification he has the option to do. I really want him to do it, and so Jordan took a poll to see what everyone thought. It was unanimous that he should go for it. Then Lucy said "Dad, if you just do what Mom says, you'll be just fine." LOVE IT! Jordan asked if that was all the time or just some of the time. "All of the time, of course." Yep. That's my girl.

Bargain Shopper!
I'm way too excited about this, but I just have to share. Recently I decided that I need a new jacket or sweater. One that I don't have to pull over my head to put on, and one that isn't Jordan's. So I went to DI today, just to prove to myself that they wouldn't have anything for me. I never ever find the great bargains that everyone else seems to, so I have avoided shopping there. But, to my very great astonishment, I found the most perfect for me American Eagle khaki jacket. And the best part is that it was only $3.50!!! Hooray for me! Also, I just happened to be passing by (no really, I wasn't looking at all, it was just on the way to the jacket) the jeans, and right there in front of me were some totally cute gap jeans (that I won't fit into for another 6 months, but they were too cute to pass up!) It was meant to be, because I wasn't looking through the jeans, they were just out there, opened up to be right in my view. It was fate. So, I actually got out of there with 2 amazing purchases for $10.03. Yep, You read that right. Ahhhh...sigh of contentment.

Quotes of the Day
Last night we were reading a book with fire men, police officers, etc. It became a great conversation tool as we went over our phone number, where to meet if the house was on fire, etc. Then Jordan asked Lucy who to call and what to do if there was an emergency. She listed a few emergencies that would be worthy of this, then said, "First we say a prayer to Heavenly Father and Jesus. Then, we call the fire fighters or police." So precious. I love that girl!
Today Josiah and I were discussing what we (HE) could do with the baby when the time comes. He is very excited to give the baby toys when the baby is sad...soft ones, not hard ones. And to not kick or hit the baby. And then he said, "If we had a mean baby, then we would knock her out!" No, Josiah, we will not have a mean baby, and we will not knock her or him out. "Oh, because mean people have mean babies, but we're nice, so we'll have a nice baby." Right, Josiah. I can go with that one for now. I love the logic of a 2 year old!

Spring Fever
Despite it only being about 45 degrees yesterday, the sun was shining full on! It was so beautiful! The birds were chirping, grass is starting to green a bit, snow is melted. And to mark this very momentous occasion, the kids thought it would be the perfect day to put on shorts, t-shirts, and flip flops! They were so cute! Warm weather...we are ready for you whenever you want to show your smiling face!

Even though we still are having major memory issues with our computer, I decided that I am not going to let that stop me from blogging anymore! So what if the computer explodes and we lose it all??? Eventually I will get either a new computer or one of those external memory thingys, but until then, I'm going to live it up. And since this year we actually OWE thousands in taxes instead of getting thousands in return, I think the new computer is going to have to wait. BTW, we are taking donations. Paypal is always accepted. JK!!!!

Jordan and I went to Sun Valley to go ice skating together. An entire half day all to ourselves! It was so much fun!! I love dates like this...when we actually DO something. I mean, I'll take a date any chance I can get, but it's way fun to make memories in the process!
We got a new puppy. His name is Cosmo. He's really a good pup - except a barker!! I got him a bark collar (I know, I'm so mean!) but half the time he doesn't seem to care. Funny guy. He's good with the kids, though, and that's the most important.
At the park with the fam, Cosmo in tow. He loved the park, and we even let him off his leash. He did pretty well. Especially for being so young.
Jordan and the kids splashing in the mud puddles!

We went up to Pomerelle with some friends. Zane, Zoey, Lucy, and Josiah had a blast! Instead of sledding, they ended up just sliding down the hills. The hill was pretty steep, but short. They made their own tracks, and they got pretty slick. It was so fun!
Lucy and Josiah are such good team-workers!

This one is Josiah going down by himself. It was so funny. He laid all the way down so I missed his head in the picture. But he loved it!

And to wrap this one up, Jordan being a bear coming out of his snow cave. He is such a fun daddy!!
So, this is what we've been up to...

Then the next week we went back up to Pomerelle as a family for some sledding:
Daddy, Lucy, and Josiah (hiding in between) ready to sled on down!
Daddy and Lucy got some air!
And Lucy got some air all by herself! She was a pro! She went alone as much as possible. But she was just as happy to go with her dad or brother if they made it up the hill in time to join her.
Lucy and Josiah waiting to go down together. This one ended in a crash, but the kids took it like pros!
Josiah coming out of Jordan's snow cave.
You can't tell, but this one is actually an action shot. I got them going down the hill, close up.
As you can tell, they had a blast!
